In a new message from Al-Qaida #2 Ayman al-Zawahri he called Barack Obama and secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice “house negroes”. Also saying they are not honorable black Americans like Malcom X. It’s a good insight into how they view Barack Obama and this upcoming administration. Could it be they will hate this administration more than they did the Bush Administration ? I know it’s crazy but these guys aren’t exactly known for their reasoning. I am also curious if the Obama administration will continue to use Al-Qaida as the boogieman like the Bush administration has. Or if they will actually treat them as the threat that they are and hunt down the leaders and break that terrorist organization once and for all.
Very good article over at Reason by Radley Balko. Asking if Barack man enough to put forth the true change that has been promised? It’s a right that many Presidents have hidden behind and I think it’s time for it to go. The time for the government to be held accountable is upon us. The job of the President of the United States of America is wildly considered the most important job in the world. Shouldn’t it also be the most honest and transparent? It would help prove that Barack Obama really wants change and isn’t full of shit.
That’s the word on the street right now and I think that it’s a very strong statement of unity if it’s true. It would pull the democratic party together and make it much stronger. I would be interested to see how the Republicans feel about this. Will it make them want to go after the Obama administration even more? We all know how much they love the Clintons.

Feds Refuse to tell who they have given $2 Trillion to
The fed is refusing to report on who they have given nearly $2 Trillion of our tax dollars to. It’s a damn shame that they are allowed to operate above the law like this. They are a huge part of why we are in the situation that we’re in. I say it’s time to fire everybody at the fed and start from scratch. We need to take our country back people. It’s never going to get fixed as long as the same people are in power. Use your vote like you did on November 4th and elect people that actually love this country and are not looking to get as much pork as they can for their district. We need people that are willing to look at the big picture and take tough stands for the betterment of this country. Bloomberg has filed a lawsuit to get access to the list and I will report here as soon as I hear something.
Obama to use executive orders for immediate impact
I know we are in dire times but I also hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. It’s never a good sign when a president uses executive orders to avoid congress. I hope that Barack is very careful with his use of these powers over his term. I am understanding of the need to get things moving. I don’t fault him for it at all. But at the same time I think it’s something that we all have to keep an eye on.
According to ABC News Rahm Emanuel was asked to be White House Chief of Staff this morning by Barack Obama. It’s been rumored he would be asked for awhile but it’s interesting that it was done so fast.
Here is the video from Barack Obamas Acceptance speech last night at Grant Park. I thought it was a moving and honest. It’s going to take a lot of work to get things going in the right direction. A lot of his supporters have been chanting his Change mantra like it was going to be an easy thing. It was nice for Barack to be honest last night and let them know that it is probably going to take a full term to really start making things change. I hope he keeps up with the honesty and works as hard as he possibly can to get things turned around even faster.
Tonight we have seen History made. Barack Obama has become 44th president elect. He’s the first Biracial president and it’s a good feeling to see this country finally look past race. Of course there were many people that voted based on race but the right man one the race. There was not the widespread bullshit from the last few elections. I’m very happy about that and hope that this country can be turned around.
It’s not an enviable position to be in but with the house and Senate on his side in the majority things could be turned around faster. I’m still not sure about some of Baracks policies but it’s going to be an interesting time and i’ll be here to report my opinion on the issues as they come up.
Now it’s time for the wounds of this election to start to heal. We are Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and all sort of various parties. But we are above all Americans and it’s time to unite and get this country back to the level we should be at. Does this mean that I will be a yes man for this upcoming administration? Of course not. I love this country and if there are things this administration does wrong i’ll let my voice be heard. Lets keep an open mind and see where this takes us.
Gotta love Florida. Last night somebody went to city hall in Orlando and spray painted dozens of city vehicles. They all had Anti-Obama smears on them. The weird part is that weird business cards were left at the scene. I wonder if this is just the start of incidents like this as I believe this might turn into one of the dirtiest campaigns in history on both sides. (Story Here) Picture ot the card left by the vandals after the jump.
Since it’s Sunday and sort of a slow news day. I thought I would take the opportunity to touch on the subject of Rev. Hagee and Rev. Wright and their effect on the general election. Rev. Wright has gotten a lot more coverage as Barack Obamas family pastor for 20 years. So lets touch on John McCains pastor John Hagee first. Rev. Hagee is under fire for some comments such as… More
Gotta love the news making a story out of nothing yet again. Jake Tapper - ABC News Senior National Correspondent. Had a post today (Story Here)Â and you would think that a national correspondent on politics would be familiar with political jokes. John McCain wasn’t talking about wife beating at all of course but in this PC world he’s in the wrong somehow. Guess it must be a slow news day for Mr. Tapper.
Today I was informed by one of our readers that a blog of one of the other readers was deleted. http://drgoldblatt.blogspot.com/ is the blog in question. There was no reason for it to be deleted and was well within the rules of blogspots terms of service. The problem that Dr. Goldblatt I believe is he was critical of Barack Obama. Seems that a new generation of political douchbaggery where you try and destroy the works of other if they don’t agree with you. It’s happening on both the Republican and Democratic side.
Yesterday on the fox business channel. Barack Obama had an interview and the reporter decided to play the word association game with him. It’s an interesting clip and I like it because it’s a little more candid and you can see how a candidate really is in conversation. Of course he’s still guarded because he is on television. But It’s fun and hope you like it.
First we had the story of the two Muslim women not being allowed on stage with Barack because they were wearing traditional Muslim scarfs (Story Here) Seems that was cleared up after Rep. Keith Ellison D-Minn. brought it up to Barack during a session of the congressional black congress meeting(Story Here) . That was a heated confrontation from what was reported in the story. Wonder if that’s the reason for this latest snub.
Just wanted to let you all know that I added the ability to quote peoples posts in the comments. Should make the longer threads easier to read. If you want an avatar to go with your posts go to http://en.gravatar.com/Â sign up and you will be able to upload an avatar and link it to the email address you signed up to this blog with. The avatar should then automatically show up whenever you post. If there are any issues with either the reply function of the avatars let me know at xclusive@fightthesmears.org and i’ll see what I can do to fix the problem. Hopefully by next week the advertising campaign for this blog will be in full swing. Just judging on how to best spend the advertising dollars i’ve set aside for this. Then after the small test run I’ll be increasing the budget as needed. If you have any suggestions on how to make the blog better don’t be afraid to email me and let me know. I am always open to suggestions.
There is a big scandal over McCain advisor Charlie Black making some statements the other day to fortune magazine. “a fresh terrorist attack ‘certainly would be a big advantage to him.’” ummm I know it’s being called outrageous by John Kerry said that by even thinking of an attack in political terms, Mr. Black was practicing ‘the worst of the Rove-Bush fear playbook’. Ok, But isn’t this a scandal that isn’t really a scandal? When did it become bad to tell the truth and state what most people are thinking? It would benefit McCain in my opinion and if there was an attack. Sure it’s not a pleasant thought.
On yet another flip flop, Barack Obama has gone against his primary campaign promises and says he’s now going to skip the public finances that he promised to use. Yet another broken primary promise and makes you wonder what else he will go back on. He’s justifying it by saying that the system is broken and the republicans will have unlimited funding thanks to 507 groups. I am calling Barack out on this one as the system hasn’t changed. Just his posistion as a frontrunner and not the underdog. Makes you really question what other proises of his he will change up to suit his needs. So much for change. Seems like the same political tactics of old.
Well now that he’s got the democratic nomination under control he seems to be changing his tune on some things. During the Potomac Primaries he missed the voting on the FISA bill. He did issue a statement though and stated that he stood by senator Dodd and Senator Feingold in fighting that legislation. His exact quote was “”I am proud to stand with Senator Dodd, Senator Feingold and a grassroots movement of Americans who are refusing to let President Bush put protections for special interests ahead of our security and our liberty.”"
I’m not a watcher of the show but it’s interesting to see a Presidential candidates wife in such a unique position. Helps you get to know them better and as we all know the wife of a man tells you a lot about the man him. I think she came off pretty well as a host and showed a good sense of humor especially at the opening. The video of the appearance is after the break. More
John McCain has come out with a plan to drill offshore and not in the arctic refuge. Story from the Boston Globe Click Here. I’ve personally been a proponent of getting to be a lot more energy effecient. We have the natural resources and we should use them. We shouldn’t be at the mercy of OPEC when we have our own resources. I personally say drill both offshore and in the arctic refuge. There is no reasons for there being any issues as long as they do it in a responsible way. Barack Obama has come out and opposed the drilling and accusing John McCain with business as usual in Washington Here is that quote from the Boston Globe Article “the same Washington politics that has prevented us from achieving energy independence for decades.”
