In a new message from Al-Qaida #2 Ayman al-Zawahri he called Barack Obama and secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice “house negroes”. Also saying they are not honorable black Americans like Malcom X. It’s a good insight into how they view Barack Obama and this upcoming administration. Could it be they will hate this administration more than they did the Bush Administration ? I know it’s crazy but these guys aren’t exactly known for their reasoning. I am also curious if the Obama administration will continue to use Al-Qaida as the boogieman like the Bush administration has. Or if they will actually treat them as the threat that they are and hunt down the leaders and break that terrorist organization once and for all.

Very good article over at Reason by Radley Balko. Asking if Barack man enough to put forth the true change that has been promised? It’s a right that many Presidents have hidden behind and I think it’s time for it to go. The time for the government to be held accountable is upon us. The job of the President of the United States of America is wildly considered the most important job in the world. Shouldn’t it also be the most honest and transparent? It would help prove that Barack Obama really wants change and isn’t full of shit.

That’s the word on the street right now and I think that it’s a very strong statement of unity if it’s true. It would pull the democratic party together and make it much stronger. I would be interested to see how the Republicans feel about this. Will it make them want to go after the Obama administration even more? We all know how much they love the Clintons.

The fed is refusing to report on who they have given nearly $2 Trillion of our tax dollars to. It’s a damn shame that they are allowed to operate above the law like this. They are a huge part of why we are in the situation that we’re in. I say it’s time to fire everybody at the fed and start from scratch. We need to take our country back people. It’s never going to get fixed as long as the same people are in power. Use your vote like you did on November 4th and elect people that actually love this country and are not looking to get as much pork as they can for their district. We need people that are willing to look at the big picture and take tough stands for the betterment of this country. Bloomberg has filed a lawsuit to get access to the list and I will report here as soon as I hear something.

I know we are in dire times but I also hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. It’s never a good sign when a president uses executive orders to avoid congress. I hope that Barack is very careful with his use of these powers over his term. I am understanding of the need to get things moving. I don’t fault him for it at all. But at the same time I think it’s something that we all have to keep an eye on.

Here is a nice little piece written by Michelle Obama. Sure it’s a little bit of a fluff piece but I though I would blog about it as it gives us a little insight into the woman and her priorities. Time will tell how she actually preforms her duty. But I think she more than deserves our support and respect right now.

I’m not a watcher of the show but it’s interesting to see a Presidential candidates wife in such a unique position. Helps you get to know them better and as we all know the wife of a man tells you a lot about the man him. I think she came off pretty well as a host and showed a good sense of humor especially at the opening.The video of the appearance is after the break.

This site is an alternative to the official Barack Obama smear fighting site http://www.FightTheSmears.com we got off to a fun start with aRickRolling parody of Baracks’ site. It got mentioned on all the cable news channels and a lot of political sites and that just wasn’t my fault. But it was a kick to see a parody site being touted as the real deal. Makes you wonder where journalistic integrity went. I’m still going to. I plan on keeping the humor going on here but i’m also going to strive to give an unbiased take on Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. Of course we will be reporting on John McCain and Cindy McCain as well. Why should Mr. Obama have a site where he can post about smears and John McCain not have that same right. Doesn’t feel fair to me and i’m just trying to even the field a little. We hope that you like what you see and we always look forward to hearing your opinion on the candidates and this site.
