John McCain for drilling offshore and not in the arctic refuge

I’ve personally been a proponent of getting to be a lot more energy effecient. We have the natural resources and we should use them. We shouldn’t be at the mercy of OPEC when we have our own resources. I personally say drill both offshore and in the arctic refuge. There is no reasons for there being any issues as long as they do it in a responsible way. Barack Obama has come out and opposed the drilling and accusing John McCain with business as usual in Washington Here is that quote from the Boston Globe Article “the same Washington politics that has prevented us from achieving energy independence for decades.”
